　　很多时候我们无法从邮件信息来判断该邮件是否有用，直接删除又怕错过重要的信息，那么只有下载后再处理。而病毒邮件一般都是采用夹带超文本文件或者附件的方式传播病毒，当你打开这些邮件就已经中毒了，因此你需要进行必要的设置，避免打开这一类的邮件。

　　先选择你需要设定的账号，然后再选择其菜单“选项/当前账户属性”。在属性窗口选择“字体与显示”栏目，去掉其中的“使用嵌入式IE浏览器显示HTML邮件”，保存设置。这样当你选择带有超文本内容的邮件时，并不会打开其中的超文本文件。

　　当你在邮件列表中选择一封带有超文本的邮件时，其浏览窗口的右上方会出现切换到超文本浏览的按钮，只有在你确认这封邮件是安全的情况下，否则建议不要随意选择。你可以选择另外一种查看方式，选中邮件打开右键菜单中的“原始信息”，这时就会显示该邮件的全面信息(如图2)。从中你可以知道该邮件的地址以及发送的一些信息，选择该窗口中的“全部”就可以看到超文本的原代码，这样你可以大概知道邮件的内容，从而判断这封邮件是否带有病毒。当你完全确认这封邮件没有问题之后，就可以切换到超文本方式进行查看了。
　模板和地址管理

　　在新版本的FoxMail中提供了模板的功能，这样你可以设置以文本和超文本方式发送、回复、转发邮件。一般情况下最好用文本方式处理邮件，你可以在账户属性中的“模板”栏目，将其中的新建、回复、转发都设置成为“纯文本”方式。
